Advertisement Ideas: Using Words Effectively!!!
In advertising it is important to think of how words can affect your business and the relationships with your current clients/customers and potential clients/ customers. Words when used effectively can drive business and increase your brand awareness and also escalate your sales. People are more apt to respond to a print ad, radio ad, TV ad, or social media ad if the words resonate with them. Ask yourself how effective are the words I am using in my advertisement? Recently a travel agency used a slogan GET AWAY after their name and the campaign was very successful as they put in small print to which was followed by different destinations and prices. When I look at major corporations such as the following I immediately recall their tagline. How are you getting people to recall your tag line? If you do not have a tag line you should really develop one and brand it in all your marketing materials.
I’m Loving It!!!!
It’s All Good In The Neighborhood!!!
You’re In Good Hands!!!!
We Try Harder!!!!
What words are being associated with your business. A good tag line can help to create a buzz and build a positive image while also increasing your revenue.

How many of you know who this is and how many know his nick name? It is Evander Holyfield who is known as The Real Deal. Everywhere Evander goes he is introduced as Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield thus strengthening his brand. In sports many memorable athletes have monikers. The creation of a memorable moniker is important as people have a tendency to remember what you are known as instead of your formal name. Think about the people you do business with and how they refer to you and how they describe you. What are you known as and how does it fit into what you do. In the last few months I have helped people to create memorable monikers so that they will be remembered. I have one lady I named The Financial Fixer, because of what she does, she began using the moniker and has found success.
Advertisement Ideas: The Good, Bad, and Ugly Of Words!!!
When you are out networking how effectively are you using your words during an introduction? I recently attended a Business Networking Breakfast in Plantation, FL and I saw the good, bad, ugly of words. One gentleman got up and his catch phrase was Websites That Work, he was quick and to the point and summed up what he did in a minute, another gentleman rambled on about the importance of old-fashioned printing on business cards, the worst was the woman who spoke about all the different things she did. When attending a networking event keep the message short, to the point, and consistent. Stick to the one thing you are there to represent. In choosing what to include make sure you have a memorable value statement, a quick synopsis, and a way for People to connect with you. When I introduce myself I say in y broadcaster voice, Hello I am Jonathan JDOGG Lederman, The Positive Broadcaster, I help people maximize their message, one way I do this is through an Internet TV Show on www.wrpbitv.com, for more details on how I can be of service and value to you see me after the event. This takes about 30 – 45 seconds. It does many things it puts me on the top of their mind as they will remember JDOGG, it gives them a reason to speak to me, and it defines what I do. This is a formula that works not only in networking but also in all of your marketing for when you can effectively use words you can begin to build a relationship as people do business with people they know, like, and trust.

You are a sign maker and don’t know the difference between plural and possessive. Think would you use this guy to make your sign.
Again this is a pet peeve of mine you are making cakes and don’t know the difference between plural and possessive. Am I going to trust you to write a message on my cake.
If your signage is not lit properly your message may be misconstrued.
In naming your establishment think about the message you are wanting to convey.
Think of what messages you put out. The three-way is a type of chili served at Skyline.
Make sure your message is matched with something that is synergistic to your business as opposed to this billboard combination.
When using words stay positive!!!
