Advertising Ideas: The Doing It and Doing It Well Formula!!!
Rule #1 do not try to reinvent the wheel simply improve upon it. Goodyear is still the #1 recognized tire brand in the United States because they market themselves and created something that became an icon The Goodyear Blimp. The Blimp was so popular that B.F. Goodrich did a spoof because they didn’t have a blimp and their commercials became memorable because the tag lone would say look The B.F. Goodrich Blimp oh wait a minute Goodrich doesn’t have a blimp.
Rule #2 is to have a recognizable logo and a tag line that best represents your brand and will be remembered by the consumer.
Rule #3 is to spread the word by having a strategic marketing plan that will send a message that is consistent, relevant, resonating, and entertaining. Ask yourself what are 3 positive things you want to be known for and what 3 positive things do you want people to say about you when they hear your name.
Rule # 4 is to be creative so that you stand out among the competition. Fund you unique selling proposition and what makes you better than others in your industry.
Rule #5 is to be persistent and to not give in to your negative self talk or to the doubters. The concept is that your business venture is not a sprint but a marathon and along the route you will make adjustments not stopping until you reach the finish line.
Rule #6 is to stay the course adjusting your sails along the way.
Stay Positive !!! Namaste!!!
