The idea is to build recognition in your industry and amongst your target audience so that when someone sees your photo or your logo they will immediately think of you and connect with you to use your products and services. Getting involved with community events such as Relay For Life can give you leverage in the market place as people will know you and know that you give back to the community. It is a good idea to include the organizations that you support in all your marketing material as people like to do business with people they perceive to be supporting the community.
