Advertisement Ideas: BLOWING UP THE MEDIA

BOOM!!!! BANG!!! CRASH!!! Did you hear that noise? What was it. It was the sound of a dedicated group of artisits who gathered together to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

With each performer I introduced it became apparent that we need to alert the media and let them know what they were missing. A friend said they’ll never come to which I answered heck they’ll come I am Jonathan “JDOGG” Lederman.

So that is when I began to blow up the media I started calling everyone that I knew and the response came in okay I’ll be there and before we knew it 5 newspapers and one TV station arrived and the community now knew about the event known as Relay for Life. The next year it became easier as we now had articles and videos and results to refer to. In the two years that I was The Publicity Chairman for The East Boca Raton Relay for Life we had much coverage to the point that the unit director said if people don’t know about your relay they have have their head in the sands.

By blowing up the media and having the attitude of I am Jonathan “JDOGG” Lederman and my events deserve press coverage I have been able to secure media coverage for many people in the community. Today I have a media list of 189 email addresses that receive my information regarding businesses and organizations that I work with.
The noise you hear is the voice telling you that it is time to blow up the media for yourself. One great way to do this is to get tp know the players in the media and beferiend them and feed them great stories. This will help you in building your brand and securing more gigs.
